Launch of the WeDoWind EAWE Test Wind Turbines Committee space
We officially launched the WeDoWind EAWE Test Wind Turbines Committee space this week! Access the recording and sign up for the space here!
WeDoWind is a framework for bringing asset owners together with researchers and model developers in a "win-win" situation, whereby asset owners get easy access to state-of-the-art data analytics and model developers get access to relevant asset data to train and validate their models.
The EAWE Test Wind Turbines Committee space is a safe collaboration space for sharing data provided by members of the Test Wind Turbines Committee of the European Academy of Wind Energy, including the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, ETH Zurich, Chalmers University of Technology, ECN and more. The space includes six newly-published unique datasets as well as three challenges on the topics of controller setting identification, strain gauge calibration and 3D aerodynamic model calibration.
Find out more about the space here:
As well as getting direct access to some newly-provided data sets from top wind energy researchers, participating in challenges involves you working in teams or individually to solve a given problem, presenting and discussing the results at regular webinars, learning from each other and exchanging ideas with a wide range of people from all over the world. We even offer a special challenge for students supported by Human Resources specialists from Badenova in Hamburg, Germany, in which you will gain communication, CV writing, networking and interview skills, as well as get the chance to meet potential future employers participating in the WeDoWind Ecosystem.
